When I made this smoothie a couple of weeks ago my first thought once sipping was, “This is so “sweet and smooth”!” Within the next few sips I was asking aloud, “Doesn’t this taste like bubblegum?”
The first time I concocted this recipe I used frozen fruit. This morning I used fresh fruit; however, I sliced the mangoes last night, put them in a zip and froze them for the “morning rush”. Hence, I will get a better picture when I’m not rushing out the door.
And to be honest, the first round tasted like bubblegum, the second round… not so much, but still “sweet and smooth”.
Fresh recipe:
2 mangoes
2 peaches
1 banana
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. OJ
1/2 cup cold filtered water
(add ice if you are not using any frozen fruit)
